PhD candidates with an employment contract have the same rights as everyone who falls under the academic staff. More information about these rights can be found through the trade unions. It is useful to become a member of a union, as this entitles you to legal assistance should it be necessary.

PNN cannot provide legally binding advice, since we are not experts and cannot represent individual PhD candidates. However, we can support PhD candidates by referring them to relevant organizations that can provide assistance, such as through the Conflict Supervisor Roadmap or via the trade unions.
