Current committees:
The Working Group UMC (former Working Group BIG) has been created by PNN, including representatives of all eight University Medical Centers, with the aim to establish an appropriate exception for BIG-registered PhD candidates to meet the new criteria for BIG re-registration. Other issues concerning medical PhD candidates are also addressed within this Working Group.
In the past, PNN organized the National PhD day, in which the Supervisor of The Year award played an important role. However, more and more local PhDs were organized and a national day was no longer necessary. However, PNN wants to uphold the tradition of the SoTY award and will be handed out at a separate meeting.

This committee focuses on the “gray area” between fraud and integrity when conducting scientific research, as well as the work to be performed by PhDs around data management and methodology and its effects on integrity.
